SUPER MARIO Power Star Frenzy is a Mario fangame made by me, RandomNICK. I started developing this fangame in 2014 in hopes of creating one of the best Mario fangames ever made! I'm quite confident that this could actually be it! It combines many things that make Mario so special like Power Stars, Platforming, and a great places to explore! The game has a Super Mario World styled retro look but with improved graphics and modern physics. It also has an amazing soundtrack from artists all over the internet, and it even has a Multiplayer Battle Mode in the style of NEW Super Mario Bros. So go crazy with collecting Power Stars or beating the Mushrooms out of each other! This will be one of the best fangames you will ever play I promise! :D

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT?
Well rather than going from Point A to B in a typical Mario game like NEW Super Mario Bros. which is no longer really NEW. The game itself relies on you the player to explore the lands and levels! As well as collecting multiple kinds of goodies. You have to collect Power Stars and complete quests to progress in the game. The more Power Stars you collect the more levels you unlock, and the more adventure you have! The game itself also includes things from other games like Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario 64, and even RPG styled games like Paper Mario, and the Mario & Luigi Series to keep things interesting!

MARIO What good is a Mario game without the Mushroom Kingdom's favorite plumber himself? Rather than doing actual plumbing he saves princesses from big bad monsters! Mario is a hero to everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom, and has saved Princess Peach countless times whether it be from Bowser or another evil villain! He's been on countless adventures all over the Mushroom World and has saved the world itself multiple times as well! Mario is a balanced all-around kind of character who has good speed, jump, and traction, and his signature Wall Jump gets him where he needs to go! |

LUIGI Everyone's favorite underdog of the Mushroom Kingdom! Luigi is Mario's younger and taller brother who has a sweet stache. He always wants Mario to take him along with him on adventures cause he cares about him greatly. Luigi himself owns his own mansion, does ghostbusting with professor E. Gadd, and even has a killer stare he uses when racing! Luigi is more of a technical character. He can run faster, and jump higher than Mario, but has bad traction which makes him hard to control. His special Super Jump allows him to reach much higher ground! |
